La Porteņa Jazz Band
I discovered this amazing Argentine Jazz Band on YouTube. They are
celebrating their 43rd anniversary. They play jazz in the style of
Coon-Sanders and Lu Waters and they are really impressive.
They have a website here
and there are a number of musical selections on the site! (Click on
"multimedia.")
Here are a series of YouTube references. Notice how they play a
"dogfight" chorus at the end, with many pieces, and it sounds
WONDERFUL.
