The Hotlanta Trio
What is the minimal trad jazz band? I would suggest that it has at
least a Tuba and a Banjo! If you add a hot clarinetist and a good singer,
you have the Hotlanta Trio. ("Hot 'lanta" is what experienced travelers and
natives call Atlanta... the name is deserved in the summer!)
This album is
particularly noteworthy because they play several tunes that are beloved by fans
of Bix and Tram.
